Mr. Deepak Garg, Founder and CEO of Rivigo called on Shri B B Singh, CMD, MSTC Limited at MSTC HO on 20.7.2018.

MSTC has developed and launched on online trading portal e-RaKAM by for sale of Agricultural & Horticultural produces.

To make the e-RaKAM portal of MSTC more user friendly, logistics would be an important consideration. To provide an efficient, timely, cost effective logistic support from & to any corner of the country, to buyers and sellers of E-Rakam portal, MSTC is in discussion with logistics providers.

Rivigo is a technology-enabled logistics company founded in 2014, with unique operational model and cutting-edge technology. Rivigo is one of the largest fleet owners in the country. 

The Ministry of Mines organized the 4th National Conclave on Mines & Minerals 13th July 2018 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan was the chief guest of the conclave. State Mining ministers, officials of central ministries including Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), officials of the state government, CEOs of mining industries, industry associations, academic institutions and others participated in the conclave.Union Minister of Mines and Union Minister of State for Mines were present in the conclave along with 6 state Mining Ministers, CEO NITI Aayog and Union Steel Secretary.For the first time, the conclave had an exhibition in which States put up stalls to showcase their more than 100 mineral blocks which have been prepared to be put up on auctions during 2018-19.

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan was the chief guest of the conclave. He emphasized on the importance of mining in the state of Madhya Pradesh and acknowledged the efforts of Ministry of Mines in bringing transparency in the mining sector.
Union Steel Secretary emphasized that mining is not a polluting industry, on the contrary, it has been instrumental in ecological reconstruction after mining operations are completed. She emphasized on developing synergies of the mining sector with its allied industries. Mines ministers also held a round table conference with the industry leaders, in which several key issues related to statutory clearances were discussed. Smt. Bhanu Kumar, Director (Commercial) along with other executives of MSTC participated in the conclave. MSTC also set up a stall in the exhibition.

वर्ष 2017-18 के लिए एमएसटीसी लिमिटेड को '' इस्पात राजभाषा विशिष्ट सम्मान" प्रदान किया गया।

वर्ष 2017-18 के लिए एमएसटीसी लिमिटेड में राजभाषा के बेहतर कार्यान्वयन हेतु श्री एम पी श्रीवास्तव, महाप्रबंधक(प्रभारी राजभाषा) को '' इस्पात राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन सम्मान" प्रदान किया गया।
वर्ष 2017-18 के लिए श्री धीरेंद्र कुमार झा, कनिष्ठ प्रबंधक(राजभाषा) को भी पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया।

International Yoga Day

MSTC organised International Yoga Day grandly with thrust on Yoga for Health, Peace and Harmony. The observations of 4th International Yoga Day started with address by CMD. He emphasised that Yoga can be practiced by anyone regardless of age, ability, or physical condition in daily life for the attainment and improvement of health, as well as physical and  mental peace. This was followed by detail session by Shri Trideep Choudhury of Yoga Research & Rehabilitation Centre, one of the premier institutions for yoga, fitness and physical therapy rehabilitation of Kolkata.

The presence of professional Yoga Trainer made the event purposeful. All section of employees and executives participated enthusiastically.  The participants took benefit of presence of Shri Trideep Choudhury with his interactive running session, also demonstrating various Asanas which were followed by CMD, Director (Finance), Sr. Executives, other executives and employees. A booklet on Office Yoga also distributed amongst the participants.

Shri Chaudhary Birender Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Steel launched the “M3” MSTC Metal Mandi Mobile App at Steel Consumers’ Council Meet at Bangalore on 29th June, 2018 in presence of Hon’ble Minister of State for Steel Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Shri B B Singh, CMD, MSTC, senior executives of Ministry of Steel, senior executives of Steel CPSEs and Steel representatives of Steel Consumers.

“M3” MSTC Metal Mandi Mobile App, a virtual market place for trading of metal products which provides a one stop platform for sellers and buyers. “M3” App provides a transparent and user friendly interface which will serve the metal sector to a greater extent.

'M3' mobile app is available on 'Google Play Store' on mobile. One can download this app and can start buying steel from this app whenever you want.

Now a buyer can buy products or forward his enquiry about products to suppliers, all from the convenience of his mobile device. This App will facilitate Buyers in placing their orders / enquiries with lot of ease and advantages. The Mobile App is a key to an online Market place for Medium and Small Scale Manufacturers and Traders.

New Help Desk Service was inaugurated by Shri B. B. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, MSTC Limited in the presence of Director (Commercial), Director (Finance), executives and employees of the company on 08th June, 2018 at Kolkata office of MSTC.

WORKSHOP on Development of Rural Sector by enhanced steel usage on Infrastructure & housing land Increasing Agri-Horti income of the North East

In keeping up with the “Look East policy of the Government of India, the workshop at Aizwal was jointly orgainsed by MSTC Limited & Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, two public sector enterprises under Ministry of Steel, to sensitise and create awareness in the North East Region about increased usage of steel as well as to deliberate on developing the market for agro products so as to have overall inclusive development of the region with special focus on Rural Sector. The workshop was held in august presence of Chaudhary Birender Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister for Steel.

Other dignitaries attending the workshop were Shri H. Rohluna, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industries, Government of Mizoram, Smt Ruchika Chowdhury Govil, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel, Government of India, Shri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL, Shri B B Singh, CMD, MSTC Limited, Smt. Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial), SAIL, Shri S Banerjee, DG, INSDAG.

The delegates in the workshop included Shri A K Basu, Director (Finance), MSTC Limited, Smt Bhanu Kumar, Director(Commercial), MSTC, Mizoram Government Officials from the Agri and Horticulture Department, Commerce and Industry Departments, Public Works Department, SAIL, RINL, MSTC Limited, TATA Steel, Engineering Students, members of FPOs and others.

The workshop was inaugurated by Shri B B Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of MSTC Limited and Shri P Madhusudan, Chairman and Managing Director of RINL spoke on the challenges and opportunities for steel usage in the region.

Shri H. Rohluna, Commerce & Industry Minister, Governemnt of Mizoram said Mizoram is one of the fastest growing economies in the North East and there are tremendous growth potential of this region. He added that steel forms the backbone of infrastructure development and Mizoram has greater potential of utilizing steel for development.

Hon’ble Steel Minister in his speech highlighted the importance that the present Government is giving for development of North East & also the vision of Ministry of Steel in this regard. He emphasized the significance of connectivity for development of the region.

The programme ended with vote of thanks followed by a cultural dance programme by troupe of awardees of Indira Gandhi NSS Award 2015-16 Dr. Zoramdhinthara, PUC College, Aizawl.
